I’ve been teaching students to enjoy practicing and playing the piano/keyboard for two decades. I characterize my philosophy as “fun and fundamentals,” a neat way of saying that my students master the basics of playing and practicing but do it in a way that maximizes their enjoyment of learning to make music. I consider myself a pragmatist who focuses on “what works” and have refined my methods with more than 2000 students, most of them adults.
