You've reached the website of Dan Starr, piano/keyboard instructor, composer, performer, and recording artist from Tucson, Arizona. I specialize in private lessons for adults and teens on piano, digital piano, and portable keyboard. I offer private lessons on piano AND keyboards. Please note that I will only provide lessons after an interview and my decision that MY help would result in YOUR success.  I also perform on piano or keyboard for parties, events, and weddings.

I teach all levels of players and all styles of music plus a huge variety of piano and keyboard skills. I always conduct a FREE interview for prospective students. From what you tell me in this interview, and if I believe I can help, I will offer you a personalized lesson program. Most of my students want to play only for their own enjoyment, although I have been honored to have helped to begin the careers of several professional musicians.
